As the first session of camp draws to a close, I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude and a happy heart. From the moment campers stepped off the buses to the final sunset dip in the lake, this first session of camp has been a whirlwind of laughter, learning, and connection.
To the Balfour Beach Community: Your welcoming spirit continues to amaze me. Every cheerful wave, heartfelt introduction, and shared smile has made camp feel not only supported but also embraced. Thank you for being the heartbeat that echoes just beyond our gates.
To Our Parents: From tearful drop-offs to proud pick-ups, your trust means everything. Knowing your children are in our care is a responsibility we don’t take lightly. Your kindness, encouragement, and patience as we navigated a few early hiccups helped turn challenges into triumphs.
